As a baby boomer I'm past my time when I worked 8-5 plus in corporate America, yet the fulfillment of purpose and challenge remains each day. A professional writer and author for some time now, I love your writing style. So much truth stood out to me in your post, but I chose this as one standout comment. Beautiful!

"It’s the practice of ensuring that how you lead externally does not contradict how you live internally."

Judy, thank you so much for this. Truly. Hearing that a professional writer connected with both the style and the substance means more than I can fully express.

That line that resonated with you is one I lived before I ever wrote it. The gap between how we show up in the world and how we actually feel inside is something so many high achievers privately carry. I wrote this piece, because I needed someone to have written it for me years ago.

I took a moment to look at your work, and I love that you write about the things women often suffer through in silence. Whether it's postpartum depression or fractured friendships, you're helping women name what's happening to them so they can move through it. Your work and mine seem to live in the same neighborhood, even if we come at it from different doors. I'm glad our paths are crossing.

Thank you, Ayesha! I’m new to Substack, but the beauty of it in my experience so far, is that it seems to be a genuine platform to share with those who sincerely want to learn and grow through varied human experiences. I’m excited for you as you continue forward.
